The one with the message from that short girl!

Oh My! Where do I even begin? They say a picture speaks a 1000 words but I’ll keep this one short and simple. Clicked on the most important day of my life. It brilliantly captures all the possible emotions I was feeling then.. Happiness, nervousness, excitement, gratitude, overwhelm.. All of it in one frame and how! This photo will always be extra special. For it was one of those telepathic moments between Bunny and me. And it was just for him. Even the professional photographer couldn’t capture this one but he did!Not all know the exact moment to click the shutter but Bunny has a remarkable eye for timing when it comes to photography.

5 yrs back on 18th July was the first time I met Bhavesh. And he was one of the first friends of Avinash’s I’d met. I never thought I would get along so well with him that he would end up becoming one of the closest friends I have.

From exploring different restaurants and cuisines, watching movies, never did I feel that he is Avi’s friend. He become one of my own. I can share anything with him and know that he would never judge me for any of it. Thats one of the best things about him. Amongst our never ending conversations stretching across continents — from Australia to USA, somewhere he became Bunny, still remains till this date and I know will remain that always.

So here’s wishing you a very Happy Birthday my Bunny Boy. Cheers!

The one with the memories from that fair girl!

He captured this in 2018! This picture has three of the most amazing people I have met in life ❤️ Two in frame, one behind the lens.

This is the first picture with him and clicked by him, we met for the first time in Bangalore. Five years ago, spent three days with a bunch of monkeys and they are the most unforgettable memories. I remember this picture as the upside down ! It has its own charm.

The Bollywood Night, is what I remember this night as. We met post work and just wanted to sit down, drop our exhaustion down, drink beer and play Jenga. And it turned into me and bhavesh going crazy like govinda on the floor of MRP. Most memorable moments clicked by him midst of chaos of the party.

Picturesque is what I call it. Bhavesh has the art to click emotions not just people. Single picture showing depths of the bond we share.

The one from the Goa partners!

This was in Goa!! To visit Goa, in offseason was definitely not in my list. But it was an amazing trip. Thanks to Bhavesh for planning the trip and taking us to really beautiful places.

I still remember the very first time you showed me some of the photographs you captured, I was so amazed, and told you to start a page for showcasing your talent. As usual, you just smiled back, that ‘dekhte hai wala smile’. But you should give it a try.

One more thing is, I have alot of funny pictures of your college times which you forwarded me( Specially sushant’s pictures) hahaha. That is the very first thing which comes to my mind talking about your pictures..Thanks for those photos.

To wind up, Happy Birthday Dost, have a safe, healthy, peaceful, blessed birthday!!

PS: Chak chik chak jhin chaas!!!

The one where Vasu praises Bhavesh!

White Villa @ Karjat, November 2016…

Yup I am probably someone you have clicked the least in our group; this one has been 1 of my personal favourites!

Ok, so I am about to be nice to you; let me assure you I am neither drugged nor paid to do it! Haha…

12+ years of knowing each other! And plenty more to come! You have always been and always will be one of the people I genuinely connected with on anything whatsoever. And you are certainly one of the nicest and the most thoughtful people I know, to say the very least! You don’t say much, but whatever and whenever you have managed to express, let me tell you that your words and gestures have always stayed with me.

Happy birthday to this person who may come across as an ass but knows no bounds in friendship and can go to any lengths for the ones he cares about. He is a man of few words but a lot of emotions! To say thank you for being a great friend would never be enough. Cheers man!

Throwback Thursday cos I am writing this on a Thursday and it is a throwback…HAH!

If it is not already clear, I love planning trips and am always looking for a chance…Bhavesh’s birthday, trip!! Oh it’s my own Birthday so trip?? ‘I am starting a new job’ trip, ‘there has been no trip for so long’ trip. Here’s to hoping I get to do a ‘OH COVID’s DONE? TRIPPPPPP’!!

Bhavesh’s journey through these trips goes like ‘let’s see…you check everything out first…what’s there to see in that place…office ka leaves check karta hun…okay chalte hain’. That’s exactly how our first ever trip together to Amritsar on his birthday happened. He literally had to just pack his bag and show up at the airport…THAT IS ALL! Entire trip was a gift and a also a surprise. Yet, he took so much time to say yes…I will never get over that. Oh and the harrowing questions about where are we actually going? Does it rain too much there? Is it sunny? Is it hilly? Ugh! He did not know how a surprise works. Must say, he is much better at it now. I’d like to pat myself for that.

So after very many hurdles, he did show up at the airport and snatched the tickets to check where are we headed. But the story really, just starts here. Due to last minute booking, I had only managed a connecting flight with a small layover in Delhi. As amazing as my luck is, our plane kept hovering over Delhi airport due to congestion. It just wouldn’t land. We had a layover so we were okay with some delay, it was when we starting getting closer to the time of our next flight that I started panicking. Oh and our plane started running out of fuel and guess where they landed to get refueled? AMRITSAR!!!!! There was not a person on crew I din request to that they should allow us to land, but no that was not going to happen, so I did what I think was absolutely the need of the hour…CRIED! Oh you wonder what Bhavesh was doing during all of this? Laughing…AT ME! Yep, he is that mean.

Anyway, our plane finally landed in Delhi where we stayed for a night in a hotel and booked another flight to Amritsar for next morning. This time, we ACTUALLY made it to Amritsar and had a lovely stay in the magical city with lots of yummy food. Sharing the snaps of the amazing Golden temple clicked by my very own boy BHAVESH!

Self proclaimed muse.

Ya, he will never tell or accept that I am his muse so I am just gonna call myself that. I mean, he doesn’t have much choice now anyway!

Like everyone else, I too love to travel to new places too and Bhavesh is an obvious choice for a partner. His idea of travel and mine are distinctive and he says I drag him on my travel expeditions like a suitcase! Hmph. I mean that’s so far from truth, I actually drag him as my personal photographer. ‘Yeah, right’ that’s what will be your reaction when you read this. Am I right or am I right? Swiftly moving on, fun fact time! I am a HUGE critic of my pictures, no matter who clicks them. My pictures are rarely flattering and I just feel awkward about them in general. On the other side, let’s just say Bhavesh is not used to receiving criticism for the pictures he takes and he was flabbergasted that I did not like the photos he clicked of me 🤣. He wanted to know exact details of why is the picture not good, those were some discussions, eh? However, my boy did not let it stop him from clicking me. Documenting moments is fun and I am a sucker for it so I really appreciate when a good scene is captured and even more when I am in it!!

There are some pictures that he has clicked of me which I love extremely and cherish. I never get to posting them, i have no idea why. So this is my way of letting you know that they are appreciated and loved. Umm, I obviously want you to keep clicking them so this is also a bribe. Take, enjoy and report to duty once the pandemic is over 🐒

I love showing him off and I cannot lie!

Okay so I know the entire point of this website is that I want to show off how good my boyfriend is at photography. However, sometimes validation from those who love you is not as impactful as the validation from people who don’t know you. In this post, I am here to talk just about that. To be clear, I am here to show off the brilliant validation Bhavesh has received for his photography at his workplace. So, his workplace is planning to publish a monthly newsletter for their company and they have asked him for his photographs which will also be published in it. SIKEEEEE! I AM SO EXCITED!!

And for once, I think so was Bhavesh. He chose the pictures himself, got camera originals from storage, captioned them and even copyrighted them!!!! I have not seen him put as many efforts into his work so I was more than pleased. Oh and so so proud!!! ♥ Needless to say I am going to get the published letter printed and framed as well. I am going to leave you guys with these amazing photographs and also the caption that he chose for each.

Whenever you read this Bhavesh, I am soooooo proud! ❤

Place – Marbela, Goa
Things that went into clicking this one. A phone camera, dramatic skies, violent sea, calm land and some perspective…
Place – Lonavala
Sometimes nature gives you the most beautiful frames when you are least expecting it. This was pure luck, right place at the right time
Place – Ban Ganga, Mumbai
Contrast always catches your attention. Also, metaphorically what it symbolizes is freedom and the will to grow no matter the obstacle.
Place – Marine Drive, Mumbai
Nothing beats a nice sunset and definetly not one at the most magical places in Mumbai. Sit down to this view and feel the calm inside you amidst the chaos outside.

Of seas and suns

My man loves being on beach and make it during sunset with a beer and some friends, that’d be his heaven. If being obsessed with clicking sunset is a thing, he has it. I only became a beach person after I visited the beaches with him in Goa and Pondicherry. He can really sell an idea if he wants to, I mean he made a person who does not like beaches visit the beach during rains which also I hate by the way. But right now, on this Tuesday morning as I have work to get a head start on and gripping anxiety about the rising cases of virus around us, I’d take that rainy day on a beach instead like the most of us would. I’d also take a normal home visit made by him, even that works, since I am putting out wishes in universe.

Point being, both of us have the same amount of differences that any two normal people can have and yet we have always managed to find a midway where I make him party and he takes me to a beach.

On that note, posting his amazing beach and sunset clicks hoping we are able to visit so many more very soon.
